Tombo tuna is a warm water albacore species found in the tropics, sub-tropics, and warm temperate Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Origin Catch sources its Tombo tuna from the well-managed and sustainable Hawaiian fishery. Tombo is caught using longlines, handlines, and by trolling, and average around 60-70 pounds round weight. The fish hits the docks only hours after being caught and is flown to us daily.
